The most delicious adventure in the Caribbean! The Anegada Lobster Festival is a Caribbean spiny lobster-filled gastronomic event on the drowned island of Anegada. An island-wide scavenger hunt style event where residents and visitors get to explore the island while sampling the best freshly-caught lobster flavors and decadent dishes. In celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary, attendees will have the opportunity to same lobster prepared in over 10 different ways including lobster ice-cream…now that should be interesting.
The event takes place over the American Thanksgiving holiday, and takes you on this spiny adventure, featuring live music with the best beaches in the Caribbean making you feel like you are in a true culinary oasis! Not a fan of lobster, but no worries as there is lots of fresh fish, barbecue meats, and lots more. The Anegada Lobster Festival is one of the BVI’s most anticipated events of the year.
At this year’s Anegada Lobster Festival, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the fresh spiny lobster, fish, or meat of their choice at ten participating restaurants: Anegada Reef Hotel, Cow Wreck, of Beauty, Trap, Potter’s by the Sea, Flamingo, Sid’s Pomato Point, Tipsy, Big Bamboo and Wonky Dog.
A ‘Lobster Crawl’ or bar crawl will kick off the event on November 25th, where patrons can visit the various watering holes around the island.
