New Years Junkanoo
Consisting of live music and fireworks, the Grace Bay area is alive with music and dancing. After ringing in the new year, The Junkanoo festival begins. During the Junkanoo Jump Up islanders take to the streets in bejeweled costumes, playing instruments and dancing until sunrise. The annual event is similar to that of Carnival or Mardi Gras.
