This year, Anguilla is celebrating its 50th summer festival, aptly coined “The Family Reunion.” The festivities will begin in the last week of July and culminate on the first Monday of August–a national holiday known as Emancipation Day. The historical day is celebrated with J’Ouvert, a pre-dawn affair that ends on the sandy beaches of Anguilla with an all-day beach party and concert.
