One of the premier and oldest sailing regatta’s in the Caribbean, BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival is seven days of friendly and fun racing around the BVI. In perfect wind and warm waters, over 150 yachts from around the world come to race on three-course areas, 18 classes, something for everyone. Bare boat, offshore multihull, gun boats and other large performance multihull are just some of the boats that come to participate in this week long regatta and sailing festival.
The BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival is the biggest racing event in the BVI. The week of events would not be the same without local community involvement, the welcome and farewell parties, barbecues and more.
Event organisers work diligently to maintain the “gold” level certificated awarded in 2009. In 2014, the event was recognised as the first carbon neutral regatta in the world by Sailors for the Sea.
