There are more reasons for foodies to fall in love. The Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival joins the list of globally rated culinary experiences. Against a backdrop of startling blue waters and sugar fine sand, foodies will feast on delights made by TV’s famous chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists this March. The luxury event launches with chef and travel connoisseur Andrew Zimmern, king of fun desserts Duff Goldman, the modern mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim, Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli, James Beard alums Michael White, JJ Johnson and Alon Shaya, and global cuisine expert Aarón Sánchez. Musician Wyclef Jean and DJ Kim Lee entertain on March 18.
The Atlantis Paradise Island’s lineup is an invitation to come hungry, let go in the ultimate epicurean playground and create amazing memories. Each event boasts more than one chef. Alex Guarnaschelli, and JJ Johnson host Jerk Jam with a special performance by Grammy Award Winner Wyclef Jean. Sanchez and Tony Abou-Ganim throw down in Tacos and Cocktails. Of course, it’s the Caribbean, and no festival is complete without tropical moonlight. Duff Goldman and Kim Lee host Sugar & Spice under the stars.
Local stars will shine at this Caribbean Wine & Food Festival. Expect to indulge in fabulous choices from the newly minted 5-day extravaganza, Paradise Island’s own Michelin Star chefs, as well as sumptuous mainstays, McKenzie’s Conch Shack, Sip Sip, and Wayne Moncur among others. A festival pass is available for multiple events.
In the end, decadence meets good. The Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival gives back by focusing attention on the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation whose mission is to protect endangered marine wildlife in the Bahamas and the Caribbean.
