Description
Grenada is a small country in the Caribbean. It has a population of about 110,000 people and is an independent state that gained its independence from the United Kingdom in 1974.
The island is mostly mountainous with lush rainforests and sugar cane plantations. Grenada’s economy relies heavily on tourism, agriculture, and offshore banking. The country has been popular for tourists for many years now because of its beautiful beaches and natural beauty.
The capital city of Grenada is St George’s which is also the largest city in the country. Grenada has some other large cities as well like Gouyave which houses a large oil refinery, Grand Anse which is a popular tourist destination, and Soubise which is home to one of Grenada’s most famous plantation estates called Belle Estate Gardens.
